I very recently changed my career path from Product Management into UX Research and was lucky enough to get hired at a digital startup 2 weeks ago. As is with most digital startups(?) my role is a DIY position they are trying out at the moment, which means I am to define my own tasks and how they interact with other departments without much direction.
The product is a new social media app that can be defined as a gamified version of Instagram. They have done minimal user testing in the ideation phase and have pushed live onto the AppStore this summer.
There is a lot to do…
I could use any advice or discussions around where to start and how to structure my role as I go along.
Any input would be very much appreciated!
