Greeting a user with their name - is this good?

Hi there,

I am putting together a design for my header section that will include a link/drop down to their account.

I am wondering if I should greet the user when they are logged in? Something like this:

Or if I should just have an account link?

Also, should I call the account section something that will be part of my brand, for example “My Chocolate” or should it simply be “My Account”?

Any suggestions that would be great, thanks!

I believe that not overdoing it with personalization still works great in UX. A simple “Hello, John” is a better option.
