Remote and Online UX Tools - Which ones can you recommend?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could suggest remote or online usability tools that have an emphasis on producing quantitative data such as path analyses and task duration/success. What are you currently using?

I was also wondering whether anyone has any feedback for the following tools:

-Loop 11 www.loop11.com
-Usertesting www.usertesting.com
-Userzoom www.userzoom.com
-Usability Tools http://usabilitytools.com/

If so, what are some of the things they do well/not so well?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much!

Johnson

Hey Johnson,
I don’t have experience with those tools, so will defer to those that do, but I wanted to jump in and say welcome to the community.

Hi Johnson, UserZoom allows you to collect both quant and qual data, including the clickstream and effectiveness/efficiency ratios you mentioned and more, check it out :)! http://www.userzoom.com/results-overview/

@Johnomariachi – @Shilpij works at UserZoom so you could ask more specific questions if you have them!

I’ve evaluated a few products.

Usertesting.com is great for remote testing, but doesn’t have many other types of research options. Low start up costs and a great pool of participants.

Userzoom offers remote testing, card sorting, robust surveys, intercepts. They’re expensive, but I’m recommending it for my medium-sized company because it will accomodate more of our needs.
