UX Testing Technique for Informational Videos

UX testing is new to our company, so I’ve only run 2 usability tests so far. Now I’ve gotten requests to test informational videos, like a How to Check My Bill Online for customers or a training video for staff. The typical think-aloud methodology I’ve used in previous usability tests don’t seem like a proper fit, so I figure an interview would be best? What do you think or suggest?

I figure I’d show the participant the video, then ask them questions intended to give the insight the study requestors want to learn. There’s nothing for the participant to “do” per se, just give feedback at the end.

Any suggestions or ideas are welcome!
