I am having 9 years of professional experience in UI development, And now I am looking for a switch from development to UX design. I have done my UX certification and I have a portfolio as well.
To start my UX career do I need to apply for UX intership ? Or can I directly apply for ux designer post ?
My past experience will be considered as advantage or disadvantage as most of the companies takes the freshers for internship
