Tips for UX Beginners

I found this interview with a designer who’s worked at Google, Wells Fargo, and Walmart Labs. He talks about tips for getting started in UX and how to develop your skills. I thought someone here might find it insightful. Cheers!

Thanks! I’m curious what the community would have to add to what’s in this piece.

Hmmm. I’m interested in his position on tools. He says to only use Sketch and Principal. Thoughts on that?

That’s what we use where I work too.

Use any tools which save your time and helps in productivity. I switched from Adobe XD to Sketch to Figma for UI, Design System and Low fi.
I switched from whimsical to Lucid chart for Flow charts and Information Architecture.
