I’m currently working on my first UX case study and I’m designing a screener survey for the project.
I am trying to screen for participants with a certain personality trait. What kind of questions should I ask?

One thing you can do is research the kind of activities people with that particular personality trait do. For example, an extrovert may enjoy karaoke or team sports. An introvert may enjoy going to the cinemas alone. Once you know, you can ask questions about what your participants like to do in their spare time and that should reveal some insights.
I’d ask a series of affinity questions with a likert scale - e.g. how much do you agree or disagree with the following statements. Write statements that you would be strongly reflecting of your target personality type and the opposite personality type.
