I’m currently working on a couple of minimal improvements to a client’s app and would like to get your opinion on the best way to design a progress bar that will be used in several multi-page forms.

I prefer combination of 5 & 7. 5 looks good but if you include current state & number or states left to complete user will have better clarity
I think 2,3,4 doesnot work as the user would be lost where he is in the process of filling and how many pages are yet to be filled.
Progress bar always indicates as milestones especially when you are dealing with multi level form. Logically 5,6,7 work and aesthetically 5 is a good option.
