Is it worth it to shift from being a 3D artist to a UI/UX designer?

Is it honestly something you’re passionate about? I think the word “worth” depends on each individual personally since all of our lives and circumstances are different. What are you hoping to get out of the switch?

I did meet a UX designer who did have a background in 3D animation. He said it was worth it as the projects he was working on were large and he was doing a lot of tedious stuff, so he was glad to make the move. One definite bonus of moving into UX is that it’s relatively social. You can get away from the computer screen and meet real users and do testing, workshops, etc. In terms of $, probably not a huge difference.

What is the Fundamental Challenge of Dashboard Design

The dashboard design is not just a beautiful visualization. It is a natural and easy way to show the most crucial information: - Products are grouped into product lines to help you track important KPIs for different business segments or products related to a particular process.

I think it would be good as it helps you grow your experience. If you enjoy doing it that is.

Reflect on your long-term goals and aligning them with your decision. It may be helpful to network, gain understanding through courses or certifications before deciding.
