Help : My first UX workshop!

Hello, i’m a junior UX Designer and I’ve been asked to lead a workshop to define two things on the website i’m working on :

  • What’s a “notification” (informations in the notification bell)
  • What’s a “task” (informations displayed on the home page, it’s like a “to-do” list thingy)

So, here what’s i’m thinking, tell me if it’s the right thing to do or not :

  1. Ask my team what’s their point of view : what’s a notification > they write on a post-it (solo)
They share their ideas (all together)
    We vote

  2. Ask my team what’s their point of view : what’s a task > they write on a post-it (solo)
They share their ideas (all together)
    We vote

Is it the right thing to do ? Please, if you have ideas or if you have worked on a similar thing, give me your feedback and experience, i’ll be soooo grateful !

Have a nice day !

Welcome to the community @Khadija_Dhrif!

To me, it seems strange to do a workshop on those two things. I would think you would do some research and sketches and then present that to the team and then people can offer feedback. Don’t leave it so open-ended.

Hope that helps!

you can do research on your topic deeply and then start your work it will help you to analysis deeply
