Applying for job and got an interview but website looks kind of bad

I have an interview coming but I noticed the website for this company looks kind of bad. I feel I can design better than what their projects are and their website looks dated. The projects look old and the websites they worked on isn’t the same anymore for some of these clients they worked for. My question is if its worth it working for a company like this?

Really nice question. Wanna to know it too.

It depends! You should try to get some inside information on what the true condition of the company is. If the company is offering a good compensation package, it might be an opportunity to turn things around in the company and a great learning experience.

The decision of whether to work for a company with a dated website and old projects is ultimately up to you and your career goals. While a company’s website and past projects can give an indication of their design capabilities and style, it’s important to consider other factors such as the company culture, team dynamic, and potential for growth and learning opportunities.

If you are confident in your design abilities and feel that you can bring value to the company by improving their website and design approach, it could be a good opportunity to showcase your skills and make a positive impact. On the other hand, if you feel that the company’s outdated design approach and projects do not align with your own career goals and aspirations, it may not be the best fit for you.

It’s important to do your own research on the company and come prepared to the interview with questions about their design approach, culture, and potential for growth. This can help you determine if it’s a good fit for you and if the opportunity is worth pursuing.

They may be simply too busy to bother updating it.
