Internationalization / Localization — Resources or Primers?

Hey all,

I’m taking a new role soon (!) that will revolve around adapting features and flows to local markets. Beyond simply translating and using the appropriate time/date standards, I’d love to read up on strategies and approaches for testing and launching products that make sense in each region.

Have you seen solid resources for international or global design? Most books I’ve seen on amazon or through www.i18nguy.com seem to be a bit dated.
