Card sorting to define order?

Hi,

I wanted to give a try multiple steps (6 to be exact) approach to adding a new product to an online shop I am working at. The reason is the products will have lots of details and I would like to put dynamics into the process by slicing it into small chunks. The problem is I am not sure which information should be listed as first and which ones at last. Would you normally use card sorting to solve the problem?

@ziemowit Card sorting is normally used to define Information Architecture of a site/app.
Based on what you have written it is more of guiding the users through a process - adding an item to an online store (I guess like eBay).
I don’t think card sorting will be of much help to you. To comment more, we need to understand in depth, the problem you are trying to solve.
